New Orleans narcotics detective Anthony Stowe (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is a heroin addict who tottering on the brink of oblivion, and he does not care.

Currently trying to bring back to Stowe to its former partner, Gabriel Callahan (Stephen Rea), who is now a drug baron. Callahan tries to slowly success, the acquisition of the New Orleans underworld.

Stowe botches a sting operation against Callahan, that is the death of a fellow agent Maria Ronson (Rachel Grant), his fiancee, fellow agent Van Huffel (Adam Leese), angry at Stowe. Chief Baylor Mac (Gary Beadle) has a very blunt about chatting with Stowe. Stowe was approached by fellow agent Walter Curry (Trevor Cooper) to his nephew to help defeat the drug trade account. Stowe is held him Baylor, which fired him. After barricading himself in the station bathroom, was an incorrigible Walter Stowe and sentenced him to betray his comrades.

Later scolds Van Huffel Stowe slain for getting Mary. Stowe responded by attacking Van Huffel front of several officers. Stowe emergency surgery, and ends in a coma. Months later, he wins the point he opens his eyes, and is recovering at his home and Valerie on the proper shipping.

Seven months after he was shot, recovered much Stowe, although he must learn to walk and talk again. He manages to survive an attempt on his life, from someone who seems a cop. He recovered sufficiently to try to get his job back, but that’s not the only Chief to Baylor, he has to give. The coma, his decision has led to a better person, and some unjust law. He reconciled with his wife, but clumsy, and gives Walter a check of $ 435,000, a part of his insurance money covered his time in a coma. Finally he visited the grave of fellow policeman Serge (William Ash), who once saved the life of Stowe, but was not killed by an unknown offender with a different stitch operation.

Valerie takes to go from the house, so they can live with Mark, but after realizing the change that Stowe has to the people who decide later to see them leave and return home to learn. Stowe is by his friend Chad Mansi (Wes Robinson) not satisfied, let his wife go, and follow the on Stowe. They miss each other by a few minutes.

Shortly after Valerie back and hits Chad, some of Callahan’s men appear. Jimmy kills kidnapped Chad and Valerie. Stowe returns to the house and found the body of Chad, along with Jimmy was waiting for him.

Jimmy Stowe needed a warehouse, where Callahan wait. Along the way, managed Stowe, Jimmy overwhelm and take his weapon, but he believes the odds are against him and possibly Valerie Callahan has a hostage. Van Huffel be revealed Callahan’s mole in the police, and the sting operation at the beginning of the film was a set-up. Walter Stowe, suddenly and save. Together they murder Callahan all men, including Jimmy and Van Huffel, like Callahan tried to escape with Valerie to his helicopter. As Callahan comes to this, seems Stowe.

The European DVD ends each shot, the other kills. Valerie screams. Sometime in the future, we see Valerie and now 3 years old daughter. They put flowers on the grave Stowe.

Ends in the North American DVD, shoots and kills Stowe Callahan. A few months later, he demonstrated by his daughter Valerie, a completely reformed person.
