After he passed his exam, decided by the young Scottish doctor Nicholas Garrigan 1971, escape from his conservative parents’ house in the first country to travel, to which he points to his world. He defended Amin initially vehemently against accusations of foreign critics.

Ignored the crimes of Amin, Garrigan initially. Only after the Health Minister will be executed because he is held under a false indication of him as a traitor, the physician recognizes the true character of Amin and his reign. Garrigan tries to leave the country, but is prevented by Amin in it. He turns to the British Embassy who support him, but on exit denied. When a burglary is submitted the passport stolen and replaced with a fake Ugandan passport. The message, however, he offers an arrangement intended to kill when Garrigan Amin. He refuses, however, first, to comply with.

Garrigan falls in love with one of the wives of the dictator who finds herself pregnant as a result of the affair. The woman tried to abort the child, discovers, however, and cruelly killed on the orders of Amin. But Garrigan tries to poison the dictator, by swapping his headache pills. Before Amin can take the pills, they are both called to the Entebbe hijacking. Here, by suspicious security chief Amin discovered the poisoned pills. Garrigan is now to be tortured on the orders of Amin through to death. Man stabs him with two hooks through the skin on the chest and hangs it on them. With the help of a Ugandan doctor who wants Garrigan tells the world the truth about Amin, succeeded him, but together with the non-Jewish hostages – who were released from the Palestinians – to escape.
