NCIS Los Angeles Season 1 Episode 4: NCIS is a CBS network television drama series, created as a spin off of JAG – Lawyers in uniform. The series starring a team of special agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) of the Navy of the United States.

The characters and the story was originally posted in two parts in the television series JAG (episodes 8.20 and 8.21). The show started in the United States September 23, 2003. Its executive producer is Donald Bellisario.

In Italy the first season was broadcast on Rai Due and Fox Crime, and the second season was broadcast on Rai Due on Sunday in prime time on Fox Crime and Friday in prime time. Sunday, October 29, 2006 has started, always on Rai Due in early evening, the airing of the third series, which ended January 14, 2007. The fourth series aired, always on Rai Due, between September 2 and November 25, 2007.

The fifth season aired in the United States since 25 September 2007 to 20 May 2008 while in Italy from 14 September 2008 to December 21 2008. With the end of the strike by screenwriters, were shot seven episodes.

The sixth season aired in the U.S. since 23 September 2008 to 19 May 2009 and has 25 episodes to recover those who were not shot because of the strike. In Italy is expected to be aired, of course on Rai 2, starting from 6 September 2009.
