All of London is in love – or the desire to be – in Four Weddings and a Funeral writer Richard Curtis steering effort, first. As “the ultimate Billed romantic comedy” Love Actually involves more than a dozen main characters, each weaving his way into another heart in the course of a busy Christmas Special. Seemingly perfect wedding of Juliet (Keira Knightley) and Peter (Chiwetel Ejiofor) brings together many of the entities, including the survivor’s best man Mark (Andrew Lincoln), who hides his crush on Juliet.

There is also recent widower Daniel (Liam Neeson), trying to help his stepson lonely Sam (Thomas Sangster) to express his true feelings to a classmate. Tries in the town, devoted working mother Karen (Emma Thompson) to revive the passion of her husband, Harry (Alan Rickman), who secretly pines for a young fellow again. In an office, the lonely Sarah (Laura Linney) not so secretly pines for a man just a few desks away (Rodrigo Santoro), who gives his affection, but not able to dissuade her neuroses.
