As Hannah Montana’s popularity begins to take over her life, Miley Stewart, on the urging from her father takes a trip to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters in life the most.

Miley Stewart is overburdened with its alter ego, Hannah Montana. After the end of the concert and the film the music video for the song “The Best of Both Worlds 2009 Movie Mix” takes Oswald, a journalist for a magazine with a camera on a conversation between Hannah and her press agent learns and Vita at that Hannah has a secret.

However, Miley gets difficult when she fights with Tyra Banks for a pair of shoes, wanted to give to her best friend, Lilly, Miley’s birthday. When Oswald secretly follows her, she is forced to come to as Hannah Montana Lilly’s birthday and draws attention to itself, instead of Lilly. Rico Oliver and Lilly while trying to stop leaving their birthday party, but the situation is coming to a head when Rico exploding a birthday cake.

Hannah and Tyras fight appears on the cover of a magazine, and Miley’s father Robby is furious. On the same day they fly, so Miley believes in a private jet to the World Music Awards in New York. However, the plane lands unexpectedly in Crowley Corners, Tennessee, Miley’s hometown. It turns out soon that Robby wanted to fly because of the birth of Ruby, Miley’s grandmother, according to Crowley Corners. He also wanted to show Miley, what a life she might have had. When asked Miley if she should ever again be Hannah Montana, Robby replied that they should ask him again in two weeks.

In Tennessee, Robby finds a new love, Lorelei. Miley falls in love with her former boyfriend Travis Brody.

Miley spends time with her best friend Lilly, which comes along with Hannah’s band and crew. When Hannah Travis encouraged to ask Miley on a date, “says Miley, yes, but she had also agreed to a dinner with the mayor as Hannah the same time. Miley runs back the whole time between the lunch with the mayor to Travis and again. When Miley goes out of the house of the dinner with the mayor and holds her wig in hand, Travis while she sees and rejects it. Miley is devastated. On a Hannah Montana concert in the city stops right in the song as Hannah Travis sees it. She feels guilty and pulls off her wig. She says that she never again could be Hannah Montana, but said a little girl, that all present will not tell anyone their secret. The entire audience shouts “Hannah”. Her wig as she picks up again, Oswald shot a photo with the camera of his mobile phone. His daughters dear, he does not send the photo to the publisher and quit his job. In the end, she kisses Travis. Robby and Lorelei renew their relationship.
