Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

The film continues the storyline of the game Final Fantasy VII. He plays on the fictional planet “Gaia”, which was dominated by the Shinra Corporation. He had discovered the so-called Mako energy that is produced from a substance that is created deep within the planet’s core. However, the tapping of the planet with catastrophic consequences.

The film takes place two years later, in the city of Midgar, where people are being plagued by an incurable disease called Geostigma. This is triggered when the body resists Jenova cells, which are in many people. Jenova is an extraterrestrial beings that had come to the planet, but was imprisoned there. Now a group of silver-haired teenager tried to give assistance with Jenovas Sephiroth again.

The three teenagers, Loz, Yazoo and their leader, Kadaj, believe their “mother” (Jenovas head) to be able to find Sephiroth’s former enemy. The main character is Cloud, who has plagued past events tired of fighting and of guilt over the deaths of two friends foreclosed himself from his old friends and now mostly lives with Tifa and the orphans Danzel and Marlene. The orphans and Cloud also suffer from the disease Geostigma whose causes are not known to them.

After attacks on Cloud, Tifa, and their old friend Rufus, Kadaj has to let something come up, as he will find his “mother”. This Yazoo persuaded to Geostigma ill children to come along with him, as he promises them to liberate them from their suffering. Also orphan Danzel follows him. Meanwhile, Marlene is kidnapped in Tifas fight with Loz.

The tentative Cloud sets out on now that to have three silver-haired, to return the children. Kadaj has the meantime, children infected with negative Lifestream Jenovas from which he also seems to exist. After an unsuccessful battle with the three men in the Cloud is because the opponents are in the majority, he must be rescued by Vincent, an old friend, who can provide information about Kadajs intentions.

They are Barret, Yuffie, Cait Sith, Red XIII (Nanaki), Cid and Vincent. Cloud manages with the help of his friends to defeat Bahamut.

Rufus, who has watched the battle from a safe distance with Kadaj, Kadaj is revealed that he wore Jenovas head the whole time with him. Then Kadaj Rufus attacked while he manages to bring the damaged tank with Rufus Jenovas head in his possession. Then begins a chase between Cloud and Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo. With the help of Reno and Rude eventually succeed Cloud, Kadaj to ask, however, in an old church (the place where Cloud meets Aerith for the first time) withdraws. The spirit of the deceased Aerith leaves a “holy rain rain” to protect against an attack Kadajs Cloud and the Cloud of both Geostigma heals, but Kadaj inflicts pain. Again Kadaj manages to escape, until he was at the former headquarters of the Shinra company persists. With the help of his memories and the solution of his guilt, he succeeds in defeating Sephiroth.
