Dev D (2009) DVDRip

Dev (Abhay Deol) is the daughter of a wealthy Punjabi businessman. He and Paro (Mahi Gill) are childhood lovers. But Dev is an arrogant, insecure man, but the recognition of their love and care about frivolous things come Paro.

The film is reduced in the present Punjab and Delhi, where family ties are negotiated by the traditions of patriarchy and marriage in a game of power and “honor”.

Dev comes to London for higher studies in that sense his father when his son is spoiled. But while separated by distance, Paro, and Dev’s childhood sweetheart, only flowers. Dev is in Chandigarh to Paro to fulfill. My quest for love makes for a dark comic moments. The seeds of distrust are sown here, the few weeds never be able to last a lifetime. When Dev hears rumors of Paro, believes he immediately locks and Paro. What makes it disintegrated mutual distrust and a significant male vision of how a woman should behave sexually. Paro turns her back on him when she heard him insult her, and is to be married, who their parents choose. On her wedding day, he realizes that the rumors were false. But his ego will not let him accept his mistake, and he can marry someone else.

Enter Chanda. This section has links to the infamous Delhi school sex MMS scandal. Her father committed suicide when he feels humiliated by his daughter’s reputation. She was disowned by her family. The film tells how she changed from an innocent schoolgirl in a traumatized prostitute. Although Chanda is not a career prostitute, she is no different than good. Instead of performing Mujras take them pornographic scenes from the popular American series. The only thing she is different, the fact that they are not specified in their study for the profession and is also open, allowing the exit gate.

Dev, Paro plagued by marriage, in search of alcohol and drugs. His flight to Delhi from Chandigarh, is also a search for his lost love, how it is an attempt to escape his father. Months later, Dev Man Paro calls in the middle of the night, following the Paro to visit him. Though Paro has grown to accept her fate, her heart still beats for her childhood lover. Her love always runs great concern. On the other hand, Dev much more demanding than love – exclusivity on their bodies – and that is where he is unlucky. More than separation, is the idea of Paro’s love to someone else, that the cause of torment for him.

Ironically paths women live forever. He is forced to self-destruction caused by one and rescued by another. Eventually he realizes he was wrong and that he may never really liked Paro. It goes back to Chanda and lives with her afterwards.

Anurag Kashyap not want to do a remake of one of the 9 most recent versions of the movie Devdas title. It was a modern version of the original 1917 classic novel by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay.Kashyap decided he wanted to create his own version of Devdas takes to reflect the original novel, but by 2008, Sion, with the character of Devdas as seductive and hypocritical sensualist that self-destructive, without knowing that he has destroyed himself.Talking about the history and its role as Dev said Abhay Deol Sargam Radio, “The story is very much of the book I read in English.
