Armed with the knowledge that Blood: the Last Vampire has anime roots, one can approach this live action, schoolgirl samurai slice & dicer with a certain degree of critical forbearance.
Which is a nice way of saying that this thing ain’t gonna pull down any Oscar noms, but it might wind up being a fun time spent in a cool theater on a hot summer afternoon.
