Jason Statham and Saffron Burrows star in director Roger Donaldson cinematic real-life 1971 London bank robbery that baffled the authorities and fascinated the public. Terry Leather (Statham) is a small time car dealer who tried his turbulent past behind you and a family. Although he had never participated in a crime, he was not exactly on the straight and narrow his whole life. Martine Love (Burrows) is a beautiful model from Terry’s old neighborhood who knows that her former neighbor is no angel. When Martine watertight plan to rob a Baker Street bank, Terry recognizes the danger proposed, but recognizes this may increase the chance of your life. As the operation begins, it is the resourceful band of thieves burrows its way into a vault safe at the Lloyds Bank in Marylebone, quickly hit a literal treasure trove of cash and precious stones. But while the crew knew that the vault which millions in riches, they did not realize that they also contained secrets that each one of the most notorious underworld gangsters to powerful government figures from London and the Royal Family concerned. Though the crime would make headlines in the United Kingdom for a few days after the crime, a government gag order eventually brought all reporting on the case immediately to stop. Could it be that the notorious bank robbers in recent memory that actually innocent people were involved in this scandalous crime.
