8mm is a mystery  thriller film by Joel Schumacher, a private detective Tom Welles (Nicolas Cage), director, who was appointed to the authenticity of an alleged snuff film research in the vault of a recently deceased billionaire, who is from him to some sleazy environments.Nicolas Cage plays private detective Tom Welles, who is deceased contacted by Daniel Longdale (Anthony Heald), the lawyer for the wealthy widow Mrs. Christian (Myra Carter), whose husband recently. Although the contents of her husband safe, she and Dale Long an 8-mm film seems to represent what the brutal murder of a girl found a huge man in a mask. Tom thinks the film, though terrible, is fake, but Mrs. Christian wants him to find some.
